Toenails On Left Foot

Günstiges Kongresszentrum

On the upper value in Koblenz will much change: The country wants from former University - separate buildings and attract new residential development. An appropriate development plan was a large majority in the Koblenz city council.
Rhineland - Palatinate is the owner of the land on the upper value on which the buildings of the former or EWH Koblenz University (including sports hall and seminar building). The Treasury wants to sell the site to the highest possible price to investors. In addition to the listed building buildings there, all buildings demolished by 2012 and accommodate a small-scale residential development to be created. But the country needs a change of Development plan, which may decide only the City Council. The University
- sports hall can now be used according to city council decision, until the new sports center is built on the Asterstein with the support of the country. This measure explicitly welcomed the BIS. However, the BIS has reservations about the actual planning, after which the site in contrast to the overall character of the upper-value is to be built (residential area with dignified individual villas on large plots of land) with row houses on small plots of land. The compressed development is contrary to the overall character of the neighborhood.
This is the reason why the BIS - Group, the development plan has not agreed. Moreover, one could the former University - transform seminar building cost to a congress center and thus the Koblenz taxpayers and the heavily indebted city millions in investment for the planned conversion of the Rhine opulent - save Hall - Mosel . The city should also negotiate with the country and at the time again by the SPD - work highlighted Group of good relations to Mainz that the land of the town at least the site of the seminary building for a symbolic sum of leaves, and otherwise in a residential development purposes Werther overall character of the upper working towards.
